The history of SAS stems from its expertise in technical consultation and project management. From this background the Company identifies specific areas of concentration, and this was Automatic identification and Data Capture (AIDC) apart from application deliver software solutions. The Company commenced its association with leading AIDC Organisations in the UK and the USA, for solutions in areas of retail, warehousing and tracking systems.

Axicon 6500 Series

Axion 6000 Series

The Axion 6000 series provides a low-cost ISO grade solution for all printers of smaller barcodes A 28" (72 mm) scan width makes. If the choice for the verification of EAN 8 & 13 symbols with automatic switching between 4,5,6, 10 & 20 mil (100, 125,150,250 & 500 micron) apertures.

Axion 6000W

Axion 7000 Series

The 7000 series is a wide-throated CCD based verifier capable of verification of codes of up to 7.6" (195 mm) width. Automatically switching between 8,10 and 20 mil (200, 250,500 micron) apertures. On-Line Verification:

Specially targeting the thermal printing market, the on-line system gives the user the ability to check each and every barcode printed, guaranteeing quality and creating a full audit trail. Uniquely, the verifier can also be used as an offline, 'static unit', in both modes the verifier not only measures all of seven parameters as defined by the ISO specifications but also validates the data content and format of the barcode.
