India AIDC Show 2006 Announced
India Label Show will have a companion event

Label Expositions (P) Ltd. have announced the launch of a new event that will be held concurrently with the India Label Show from 6 to 9 December 2006 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The new show will be called India AIDC Show and will focus on the emerging technologies related to Automatic Identification and Data Capture and cover the segments of Barcoding, Biometrics, Smart Cards and RFID. “Anyone connected with the packaging business- whether a converter or a user is keen to know more about these technologies and its role in the logistic process from production to distribution,” says Anil Arora, President, Label Exposition (P) Ltd. “There is an overlap in the visitor profile of the two shows. While, the AIDC show will benefit hugely from the visitor following of the well-established India Label Show, the new show will also add a lot of value for the label printers that usually exhibit at ILS,” added Arora.

AIDC Technologies Association of India that hosts the AIM India- the local chapter of AIM Global is supporting the show and will ensure the endorsement of the global association. “Several of our members have been exhibiting in the India Label Show in the past. With a separate show for AIDC technologies, I think there will be a lot more interest for the exhibitors in India and abroad. Moreover, many more focused visitors can be expected to attend the two concurrent events,” said P C Jain, Chairman of Aim India Chapter and the President of the AIDC Technology Association of India.
