Mumbai Mudrak Sangh (MMS) in association with Print- Packaging.com is all set to organise its forth consecutive Printers’ Day Celebration on 17th February, 2007. The two organizations have put together a conference for commercial printers to discover the ‘Emerging Opportunities in Inline Narrow Web Technologies.’ The day long seminar will be held at The Leela, Sahar, Mumbai from 2.30 Pm onwards to 9:00 Pm. The Seminar will see eminent industry veterans like Amila Singvi, MD, International Print- O- Pac, P Dasgupta, GM, Packaging Development- Hindustan Lever, Manish Kapoor, Sales Manager, Flexo Image Graphics, Harveer Singh Sahni, MD, Weldon Celloplast and S. Chidambar, Industry Consultant speak on various topics related to the theme. “In the competitive times today, the commercial printer is aggressively looking to adopt new technologies and methods to improve his bottomline. We have been trying to introduce him to the latest trends and this year we are focusing on the opportunities in the booming label printing businesss,” says Anand Limaye, President MMS. The association in the past years has managed to attract over 350 delegates to its focused seminars and the annual event is really looked forward to by the industry. The seminar is sponsored by Flexo Image Graphics (P). Ltd. and India Label Show 2008. “The future growth in this industry will happen not only through expansion by the label printers but also by new entrants. We see a major role being played by commercial printers in this context,” said Anil Arora on behalf of the organizers of India Label Show. He also revealed the plans of organizing such seminars in other parts of the country over the next two years as a run up to the India Label Show 2008. This year’s seminar will be accompanied by a table top exhibition where more than 25 leading Indian and International companies will showcase complete solutions for a new entrant into the label industry. The day long celebrations will also see a felicitation function where Sanat Shah of Manugraph Industries will be honored for his contribution to the printing industry. The day will wind up with cocktails and dinner.
