The Label market in India has been growing at a phenomenal rate of over 20% per annum in the last 2-3 years, a trend that is expected to be sustained through this decade to 2010. The growth has been not only in terms of market numbers but also in substantial technology up gradation to sophisticated higher-value systems. The dynamic Indian Label industry, which is rapidly gearing itself to achieve state-of-the-art levels to cater to the needs of leading global brands, is expected to hit a Rs. One billion turnover in this financial year and go on to capture 6.5% of the world market by 2010. India is being perceived as not only a huge potential market but also as an attractive sourcing hub for Packaged Products and Labels.

Reflecting the trends, the fourth edition of India Label Show will be held from 3-6 December 2008 at the same venue in New Delhi with the theme- ‘Enlabeling’ the Globalised World
